Brand and trademark use

How to write our name, when you may use our mark without asking, and what we ask you not to do with it.

The name

The name is CLZTR. It is written in capitals, as one word, with no spaces and no punctuation inside it. It is not Clztr, CLZTR., Cluster or C L Z T R.

In running text it takes no article: "on CLZTR", not "on the CLZTR".

The name is ours and we do not licence it, but you do not need our permission to write it. See below.

What you may do without asking

Write our name in an article, a review, a study or a post, including a critical one. You do not need permission to name a company you are writing about, and we do not want to be asked.

Say truthfully that you use CLZTR, that your event is on CLZTR, or that you are a host on CLZTR.

Use our unmodified logo to link to us, at a size where it stays legible, with clear space around it.

Use screenshots of the product to show what you are describing, as long as they are not altered to show something the product does not do.

What we ask you not to do

Do not change the mark. That means no recolouring, no stretching, no rotating, no adding a word or an effect to it, and no rebuilding it in another typeface.

Do not use the name or the mark in a way that suggests we endorse, sponsor, review, verify or partner with you when we do not. This is the one that matters, and it is the reason for most of the others.

Do not put the name or the mark in your own product name, company name, domain, app name, social handle or logo.

Do not use the mark on merchandise, on a physical sign, or on packaging.

Do not use the name or the mark to describe an event, venue or account that has nothing to do with CLZTR.

Hosts, venues and companies

If you host on CLZTR you may say so, and you may use the logo to link to your own events. That is what it is for.

What you may not do is present yourself as CLZTR, run an account that looks like an official one, or describe a verification, badge or status you do not have.

Impersonating CLZTR is handled the same way as impersonating anybody else on the platform, under the Community Guidelines.

Read the Community Guidelines

If somebody is misusing our name

Tell us. Include a link or a screenshot and where you saw it. We would rather hear about it from you than not hear about it.

If the misuse is an account on CLZTR, report it in the app instead: that lane carries the account with it and reaches the team that can act on it.
