CLZTRBiometric Policy
CLZTR asks for your explicit consent to collect and process your biometric data.
What we collect
A short face scan (a "liveness check") that confirms a real, present person is using the app. If you choose to verify your identity or apply to host, we also collect a selfie and an image of the identity document you upload.
Why we collect it
To confirm that you are a real person, to keep fake and duplicate accounts off the map, and to verify identity where CLZTR requires it. Your face is checked again about every 30 days so the account stays tied to the same person.
How it is processed
The liveness check runs on your device. Verification results, and the images you upload for identity verification, are processed on CLZTR's own servers. We do not use your biometric data for advertising, for profiling, or to find you in other people's photos. We do not sell it and we do not share it for marketing.
This is not how you sign in
Your login is your phone number, email or social account. The face scan proves a live human is present; it does not replace your credentials.
How long we keep it
Biometric data is deleted within 30 days of you deleting your account. It is deleted after 3 years without activity. Identity document images are deleted within 7 days of a verification decision.
Your choices
Consent is optional and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings, Privacy, Biometric data. Withdrawing stops all biometric processing and schedules deletion of what we hold. Where verification is required, a non-biometric route is offered instead.
Legal basis
Explicit consent for special category data under GDPR Article 9(2)(a), Chilean Law 21.719, and LGPD Article 11.
Retention at a glance

Withdrawing your consent
Open the CLZTR app and go to Settings, Privacy, Biometric data. Withdrawing stops all biometric processing and schedules deletion of what we hold. A non-biometric way to verify is always offered.
